KEC's Integrated Research Center, equipped with skilled researchers and state-of-the-art facilities, has been at the forefront of technical advancement since its establishment in 1984. Projects at the research center involve, basic scientific research, technical analysis, improvement of product efficiency, and industrial forecast and analysis. The projects all carry the objective of maximizing customer satisfaction.

Semiconductor & Electronic Components R&D
KEC is expanding its research area in semiconductors and electronic components to include MOS technology which can be applied to develop silicon semiconductors and ultra high-frequency SiGE HBTs, as well as silicon sensors which use MEMS technology. Research is underway to upgrade KEC's technology in information and telecommunications parts such as resonators, filters, duplexers and antennas.
